Unlike most consolidators in the US who cater only to travel agents, ASAP Tickets sells directly to passengers. ITN has negotiated discounted fares with more than 200 airlines.

No. Although you can access our fare database online based on your search criteria, most of our discounted fares are unpublished and can only be booked by calling one of our ASAP Tickets agents. When planning and reviewing a quote online, keep in mind that discounted fares sell out very fast. What you see in your online quote is the lowest applicable fare for the selected cities and dates, and may not reflect actual seat availability. An e-ticket is an electronic ticket which replaces traditional paper tickets. Once you confirm and pay for your itinerary, an electronic ticket is issued and an electronic ticket file is attached to your reservation and can be accessed by the airline(s).

All tickets are non-transferable and name changes are not permitted.

ASAP Tickets issues mostly e-tickets. Once your electronic tickets are issued, you will receive an email confirmation which will include the ticket number, and the reservation numbers for each airline you’ll be traveling on. For paper tickets, you can choose to ship your tickets through UPS or Fedex. When shipping Fedex or UPS, your agent can provide a tracking number you can use to track your ticket. ASAP Tickets is not liable for lost or delayed tickets.

E-ticket confirmation will be e-mailed to you after ASAP Tickets has ensured the ticket has been issued. General shipping for paper tickets is three to fifteen business days. When necessary, please check with your agent to arrange express delivery.

In addition, the airline may have applicable fees for the service, where permitted, to be paid at the airport. Tickets issued for unaccompanied children, will not avail of the discounts, but will be issued as adult fares. To receive a children discount, an adult must be in the same reservation as the child.
 
 
Baggage: Baggage allowance depends on the airline and the destination. While most airlines allow up to 2 bags each, with a maximum of 50 pounds, as well as one carry on and a purse or laptop, some fares have fewer bags, or none at all, included in the price. Always check directly with the airline for up-to-date information. Exceptions for destinations apply.

Infants and children discounts: Most airlines provide discounts for infants up to 24 months old, and children from 2-11 years of age. The fare for infants is usually 10% of the adult fare, while the usual fare for children is 75% of the adult fare, plus taxes and fees. However, some discounted tickets have no additional reductions for infants or children. Please check with an agent for discount information.
 
 
Senior, military or youth discounts: Often, our discounted fares are already less expensive than most regularly published fares. Any additional discounts depend on the airline. For example, while some airlines provide a 10% discount for youth, others don’t. So it’s worth it to ask an agent.

Although there are exceptions, generally when traveling from the US abroad, you will be able to collect your luggage at your final destination. Generally, on return trips back, passengers have to go through immigration and customs at their first point of entry into the US. This means presenting your passport and clearing immigration at your first point of entry in the US. Once you clear immigration, you will then collect your luggage and go through customs clearing. If connecting to another domestic flight in the US, you will have to drop off your luggage with the connecting carrier. Usually, airlines will have counters near customs, where bags can be dropped off by connecting passengers. Much depends on the customs laws and regulations of the country you are in. Check with an agent, should you have questions.

If you know you cannot travel, you must cancel your tickets with ASAP Tickets or with the airline. All bookings must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. If you fail to cancel your ticket, the airline will treat the ticket as a "No Show" and the ticket automatically loses its value; therefore cannot be exchanged or refunded. Note: If you have a paper ticket rather than an e-ticket, you must return the paper ticket to ASAP Tickets before we can process any kind of refund or exchange.

For reservations changes, please contact our Customer Service Department at (800) 750-2238 to speak to one of our representatives. They will guide you through the appropriate authorization forms. Once submitted, the customer service representative will process your request. ASAP Tickets customer service representatives are available by phone Monday through Sunday, 24 hours.

Once a ticket has been issued, ASAP Tickets has a 24 hour grace period (applicable only for tickets issued with a US consolidator) to void the ticket transaction without any airline penalties. Once this period is over, the fare restrictions determine whether we are able to make any corrections, as well as whether or not there will be any fees applicable for the changes. A voided ticket does not ensure the same ticket is available to book again. Passenger names provided must match the names shown on passports. Even a small mistake in the name can cause a major inconvenience for passengers during their travel. Sometimes a mistake can even prevent a passenger from using their tickets. Additionally, the process of correcting names on previously issued tickets is complicated and many airlines do not allow it. We kindly ask that you double check the names you provide.

No, unfortunately, ASAP Tickets no longer sells open-ended tickets.

Most discounted tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. However, the restrictions vary, depending on the airline. Airlines that allow exchanges or refunds, may charge a penalty fee for the service. Inquire with your travel agent about the applicable fees for any modifications, at the moment of the purchase. Penalty fees are subject to airline rules. Exchanges: If fare rules allow for exchanges, a $250 processing fee will be charged along with any airline penalty and fare difference. Refunds: If fare rules allow for refunds, a $250 processing fee will be charged along with any airline penalty and recalled fees.

Missed flights are considered by the airline as a “No Show” and immediately suspended. ASAP Tickets is only able to reinstate the reservation, if your airline allows that, and only upon the payment of all applicable fees. Should a waiver be required, you will be asked to submit all relevant supporting documents, before our agents can proceed with the request to the airline. Kindly note, in most cases, a missed flight means that your remaining reservation is automatically canceled, and its value is forfeited, which is why you should make sure to cancel a reservation at least 24h before the flight if you know that you won’t be able to travel as scheduled.

 The Montreal Convention or the Warsaw Convention system may be applicable to your journey and these Conventions govern and may limit the liability of air carriers for death or bodily injury, for loss of or damage to baggage, and for delay.
 

 

 Where the Montreal Convention applies, the limits of liability are as follows:

 For damage occasioned by delay to your journey, 4,694 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 5,400; US $7,100) per passenger in most cases.

 EC Regulation No. 889/2002 requires European Community carriers to apply the provisions of the Montreal Convention limits to all carriage by them of passengers and their baggage by air.Many non-European Community carriers have elected to do so in respect of the carriage of passengers and their baggage.

 

 Where the Warsaw Convention system applies, the following limits of liability may apply:

 16,600 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 20,000; US $20,000) in respect of death or bodily injury if the Hague Protocol to the Convention applies, or 8,300 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 10,000; US $10,000) if only the Warsaw Convention applies. Many carriers have voluntarily waived these limits in their entirety, and US regulations require that, for journeys to, from or with an agreed stopping place in the US, the limit may not be less than US $75,000.

 17 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 20; US $20) per kg for loss of or damage or delay to checked baggage, and 332 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 400; US $400) for unchecked baggage.

 The carrier may also be liable for damage occasioned by delay.

 Further information may be obtained from the carrier as to the limits applicable to your journey. If your journey involves carriage by different carriers, you should contact each carrier for information on the applicable limits of liability.
 

 

 
 Regardless of which Convention applies to your journey, you may benefit from a higher limit of liability for loss of, damage or delay to baggage by making at check-in a special declaration of the value of your baggage and paying any supplementary fee that may apply. Alternatively, if the value of your baggage exceeds the applicable limit of liability, you should fully insure it before you travel.
 

 

 Time limit for action: Any action in court to claim damages must be brought within two years from the date of arrival of the aircraft, or from the date on which the aircraft ought to have arrived. Baggage claims: Written notice to the carrier must be made within 7 days of the receipt of checked baggage in the case of damage, and, in the case of delay, within 21 days from the date on which it was placed at the disposal of the passenger.

 DENIED BOARDING:
 
 &nbsp;Airline flights may be overbooked, and there is a slight chance that a seat will not be available on a flight for which a person has a confirmed reservation. If the flight is overbooked, no one will be denied a seat until airline personnel first ask for volunteers willing to give up their reservation in exchange for compensation of the airline&apos;s choosing. If there are not enough volunteers, the airline will deny boarding to other persons in accordance with its particular boarding priority. With few exceptions, including failure to comply with the carrier&apos;s check-in deadline (carrier shall insert either of _ minutes prior to each flight segment or(which are available upon request from the air carrier) here), persons denied boarding involuntarily are entitled to compensation.
